My band had our second festival of the summer recently.
We were performing at the end of the weekend after a couple of wonderful performances from various greats -Coope Boyes and Simpson, Martin Carthy, The Carravick sisters, The Toy hearts, Peat Bog Faeries, etc. etc. There was also lots of cider and LOTS of mud!
Essentially the entire field was like this.
They have a very pretty minster in Beverly - we ended up wandering around the town between gigs and meals...
Our gig went well, and we were recorded by a radio station who are offering to produce a live album from it! Could be interesting...
Huzzah for festival fun! Next up is Warwick, at the end of July, so a bit of a break for recuperation and then onwards!
