Happy May day / Beltane

So, who else was up at half 4 this morning to welcome in the summer...? 

Oh. right. 

Well, without us doing that, it would've been winter forever - you're welcome!

 We went along to the town moor to watch the Kingsmen do a traditional dance to welcome in the spring, drank a large amount of green ginger wine and lemonade, and almost froze my little toes off on the walk back! Will looked rather excellent in his morris-dancer getup - 

  Have you ever seen anyone so happy to be holding giant tampons at 5 in the morning? 

English folk dance is rather strange.

Warm, happy feet once we got home.
